Recently, in the demonstration workshop of the NUZHUO Technology Service Center, a cutting test aimed at evaluating the practical application capabilities of PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) oxygen generators attracted much attention. As the operator started the laser cutting equipment, a PSA oxygen generator independently developed by NUZHUO began to supply gas on-site. Within just a few seconds, a 10mm-thick carbon steel plate was perfectly cut. The cutting surface was smooth, flat, free of slag and burrs, and was unanimously recognized by the representatives of the on-site customers.

This test aims to verify the gas supply quality and stability of the NUZHUO oxygen generation equipment in the laser cutting scenario. The auxiliary gas used in the cutting process has extremely high requirements for purity, pressure and dew point. Ordinary industrial oxygen cannot meet the needs of precise processing. At the test site, this oxygen generator continuously outputs oxygen with a stable purity of 93% ± 2%, with pressure fluctuations not exceeding ± 0.05 MPa, and a dew point lower than -40℃. It continuously provides clean, dry and high-concentration oxygen to the laser cutting head throughout the process. During the cutting process, the oxygen is fully used for combustion, the molten metal is discharged smoothly, the verticality of the 10mm sheet section is good, the roughness is controlled within Ra6.3, and it fully meets the quality standards of the precision processing industry.
From a technical perspective, this PSA oxygen generator adopts an imported zeolite molecular sieve and dual-tower alternating adsorption process, combined with the independently developed intelligent pressure equalization technology. This effectively enhances the oxygen recovery rate and the operational efficiency of the equipment. The device is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen human-machine interface, supporting one-click start/stop, real-time parameter monitoring, and historical data export. The operation is convenient, and the entire machine occupies less than 2 square meters of space, making it suitable for flexible deployment in various processing workshops.
The NUZHUO technical engineer gave a live presentation, stating that compared to the traditional liquid oxygen tank supply mode, the on-site PSA oxygen generation can help users reduce their oxygen usage costs by approximately 40%. At the same time, it eliminates the safety risks associated with liquid oxygen storage and transportation as well as the hassle of changing tanks. The excellent performance of cutting 10mm steel plates this time further confirms the reliability and applicability of NUZHUO’s oxygen generation equipment in the metal processing field.
It is known that this client is an enterprise engaged in the processing of mechanical engineering components. Previously, due to unstable oxygen quality, the cutting yield was relatively low.
