In the production of lithium batteries, the high-temperature sintering process of the positive electrode materials has extremely strict requirements for the atmosphere environment. To prevent the materials from having adverse reactions with oxygen during the sintering process, high-purity nitrogen gas is usually injected into the sintering furnace as a protective gas to ensure the stability of the electrode material structure and the quality of the product. With the continuous increase in the energy density requirements of batteries, the purity requirements of nitrogen gas have moved from industrial grade to electronic grade. Any trace impurities may affect the cycle life and safety performance of the battery.
