Recently, a steel production base of Nuzhuo Technology in South Africa provided a large-scale high-performance nitrogen generation system. This equipment will mainly be used for the bright annealing protection of steel, preventing the oxidation of the metal surface during the high-temperature treatment process, thereby significantly improving the product quality and surface finish of cold-rolled steel plates and galvanized plates. Firstly, the equipment is equipped with the EES energy efficiency system (Energy Efficient System) independently developed by Nuzhuo Technology. This system uses a precise adsorption tower structure and cyclone honeycomb gas distribution technology to ensure a more uniform distribution of compressed air within the tower, significantly enhancing the working efficiency of the carbon molecular sieve. From the equipment’s arrival to stable production of qualified nitrogen gas, the entire process only takes 3 days, minimizing the interference to the normal production schedule of the steel mills. In the annealing process, this equipment can stably provide high-quality nitrogen gas with a purity of up to 99.9995% and an oxygen content of ≤ 5 ppm, ensuring that the steel strip remains “oxygen-free” throughout the continuous annealing furnace. This not only completely eliminates the oxide scale defect but also makes the crystal structure of the steel more uniform, and significantly improves the elongation and stamping performance. In addition, this equipment has the ability to start up and reach standard within 15 minutes, and can flexibly respond to the emergency gas supply needs of the steel mills after maintenance, truly achieving “easy to use, gas saving, and no shutdown”.
