Hangzhou Nuzhuo has specially designed a set of medium-sized deep cryogenic air separation equipment for it, focusing on optimizing the oxygen-nitrogen production process and the energy recovery system. This project was put into operation in 2021 and has not only stably supplied 99.6% high-purity oxygen, meeting the requirements for intensified smelting, but also reduced the per-ton steel energy consumption by approximately 8% for the steel plant. At the same time, its efficient nitrogen production system provides a reliable protective gas source for the production line. The equipment has undergone tests under the special climatic conditions in the area near the Andes Mountains and has been operating stably continuously to date, receiving high praise from the customer and becoming a model of Nuzhuo’s technical services in the South American steel market. Nuzhuo has adopted advanced technologies such as molecular sieve purification, efficient booster turbine expansion machines, and full distillation hydrogen-free argon production to ensure low energy consumption, high purity, and high output of gas supply under extreme conditions. The equipment control system is highly automated and can achieve remote monitoring and intelligent regulation, significantly improving the stability and safety of the steel plant’s production process. Especially in areas with frequent grid fluctuations or harsh environmental conditions, it has demonstrated significant advantages.
